Taking the Stress Out of Cooking, One Meal at a Time!

As a personal chef and health food blogger, I know first hand just how time consuming the process of preparing a meal from start to finish can be, especially after a long and hectic day. Let’s face it, families are very busy these days and don’t always have the time and energy that is required to constantly be planning, prepping and creating healthy and all-natural cuisine. The result is oftentimes a constant barrage of takeout trips and restaurant dinners. Looking for a healthy change?

TLA specializes in customizing healthy and delicious meals that are rich in lean protein and packed with whole grains, tailored to fit you and your family’s tastes and dietary needs. The stress of grocery shopping, menu planning and meal preparation are taken out of the equation, leaving you with more time to concentrate on the things that are important to you!

THE LEANER APPROACH Philosophy

TLA believes in taking a wholesome approach to food consumption. The cuisine that is prepared focuses on ingredients that are healthy, unprocessed, and help to nourish your body. Local ingredients are utilized whenever possible. The protein that is chosen is always lean, sustainable and all-natural.

How It Works

Step 1: An in-home consultation will take place where we will discuss your dietary needs and goals, as well as address your specific food preferences. A welcome kit with a detailed food questionnaire will be passed along to you, which we can fill out together. We will also go over how you would like your meals to be stored (freezer, refrigerator or both) and in what capacity you would like them stored (family-style, individual). At the end of the meeting a cook date (meal preparation and delivery date) will be scheduled. After the meeting (within 48 hours) a customized menu will be prepared specifically for you and your family and given to you for final approval and sign-off.

Step 2: I will handle all of the grocery shopping for you, which will free up your time as well as allow me to pick-up the freshest ingredients possible. And if you happen to have a couple extra grocery items that you need from the stores where I will be shopping, I am happy to pick those up for you as well.

Step 3: Meal preparation day. On the scheduled delivery day I will prepare your meals, pack and clearly label them in airtight glass containers (along with reheating instructions) and stock your fridge and freezer with deliciously healthy meals for you and your family! That’s it! After each cook date I do a quick check-in to make sure that you enjoyed your experience. Your feedback will also allow me to further tailor your preferences even more.
